Claw flumq We began our Freshman year with 37 members. They were Larry Arndt, Richard Arttus, Larry Bever, Larry Berner, Judy Brandau, Verdell Beier, Lana Bolden, Patty Bray, Rick Buchholz, Linda Cox, Bonnie Creviston, Doug Devine, Helen Eckelberg, Ed Fick, Bob Granger, Shirley Hericks, Ted Kober- nick, Delores Kratche, Don Kruse, Sandra Larson, Larry Leitz, Larry Lydon, Barbara Marco, Roger Martin, James Meseberg, Carol Noth, Roger O'Gara, Shirley Olson, Annette O'Rourke, Don Pasch, Carolyn Purpus, Howard Sandborn, Vivian Schendel, Barbara Tillman, Jerome Von Haden, Ted Welch, and Lowell Zellmer. Patty Bray led our class as president, Larry Arndt, vice-presidentg Barbara Tillman, secretaryg Shirley Hericks, treasurer, and our advisor was Mr. McCulloch. Initiation was the big event of the year. Each student dressed as a famous person. We started our Sophomore year with 40 members, Mayland Kannenberg, Russell Krahenbuhl, and Nils Vetra joined our class. Don Pasch left after a few months of school. Officers for the year were president, Larry Arndt, vice-president, Bonnie Crevistong secretary, Judy Branclaug treasurer, Barbara Tillmang and our class advisor was Mr. McCulloch. Our Junior year left us with 35 members, Nils Vetra, Delores Kratche, Patty Bray, Barbara Till- man, Mayland Kannenberg, Carolyn Purpus, and Russell Krahenbuhl did not return. Juris Valters and Ida Whitcomb joined us. Juris Valters was president, Rick Buchholz, vice-president, Judy Brandau, secretary, Ed Fick, treasurerg and Mr. McCulloch was our advisor. Our Prom was held April 21. Ed Fick and Judy Brandau were king and queen. Larry Bever and Lana Bolden were prince and princess. The theme was Shangri-La with the Don Kaye Orchestra providing the music. Our Senior year began with 31 members. Larry Leitz, Larry Lydon, Ida Whitcomb, and Annette O'Rourke did not return. Vivian Schendel and Larry Arndt were chosen Badger boy and girl. They were also chosen Co- editors of our annual. Class officers were for the year, president, Rick Buchholzg vice-president, Leon Schindlerg secretary, Judy Brandau, treasurer, Vivian Schendel and our advisor Miss Bartol. Larry Arndt and Lana Bolden were king and queen of our Homecoming. Rick Buchholz and Vivian Schendel were prince and princess. The Cavaliers provided music for an enjoyable evening. Baccalaureate was held May 20th and we completed our education with our commencement ex- ercises on May 25. Wd! We, the Senior Class of 1962, being of sound mind and memory do hereby publish and declare this to be our last will and testimony. We hereby will the following to the underclassmen and faculty of wuton High: We, the Senior Class, will our ability to be QUIET in Social Problems Class to the Juniors. To the Sophomores we will the right to be Jolly Juniors - as we were! To the little Freshman we will the hope of being Big Seniors someday. To the incoming Freshman we will the fun and excitement of High School life. To Miss Bartol we will more willing workers on the Annual Staff next year. To Mr. Grossmann we leave our math books, bookkeeping assignments, and typewriters. In hopes that your future students will use them more. To Mr. Herman we will the power of positive thinking. May it help you to win ALL the basketball games next year. To Mr. Mayo we will a whole set of new jokes. The ones you've been telling are worn out. To Mr. Moennig we leave our band instruments and singing voices. You will need them next year! To Mr. Ray we will a new back so you can bend over and pick up your own paper. To Mrs. Smith we will a long stick so you don't have to get up to wake the boys in study hall.
