Yours for motivating those who came in contact with you by creating within them the desire to learn. You have devoted your time, energy, experience, and skill to cope with the problems of those whom you have taught. This is yours for the sincerity with which you have served Wilton High for the past three years. To thank you for your care and guidance, we. the class of 1960 dedicate this annual to you. A dm in istra tio n It is not within our power at this time to accurately judge the results of our labors during the 1959-60 school year. However, I believe it would be safe to predict that this past year will not be remembered as unrewarding for the entire student body as well as this Class of '60. This yearbook might well exemplify the quality of achievement of this year’s graduating class. Congratulations to the Class of 1960 and may your successful scholastic careers be an indicator of greater things to come. Principal MR. MAYO Now for an easy quiz. Our state project was “Food for the Shrewd.” F.H.A.’ers know the importance of good nutrition and for our state project this year we tried to emphasize the importance of good nutrition to others. Pamphlets were sent home to all families in the school on basic facts of nutrition and the dietary needs of a person. For our chapter goal we chose to work on our eighth purpose-- To further in- terest in home economics.” This was done by publishing articles in the school paper on the work being done in the different classes. Some of the other activities on our busy calendar were record hops, concessions at basketball games, sponsored the all school Christmas Tea. were hostess for the dis- trict F.H.A. demonstration contest, participated in the fall F.
