Class Will of 1956 In a sunny day in May, 1966, the Wilton 400 roared into the depot, deposited a few passengers and one article of baggage, a card-board box with the simple address--Wilton, Wisconsin. Evening came and the box remained alone on the depot platform, catching many curious eyes. Then a hobo came by and after long deliberation he opened the box. A carefully typed manuscript greeted his eye and this is what it said: We, the graduating class of Wilton High School, in the year of 1956, being of sound mind, hereby declare this our last will and testament. ITEM I: To Mr. Loff and the faculty, we leave our appreciation and thanks for the preparation given to us for our future. ITEM II: To the Juniors we leave our ambitions, our right as Seniors, unfinished business, un- paid debts, old boy friends, and vice versa and last but not least our ability to have lots of fun. ITEM III: To the Sophomores we leave our success of the class play and the memories of our Junior Prom. ITEM IV: Oh yes, to the Freshmen, we leave all of our A’s” so they won't have to study so hard the next three years.
