JUNIORS PRESIDENT Elizabeth Schulte VICE-PRESIDENT George Dougherty SECRETARY Kay Welch TREASURER Audrey Winchell ADVISOR Mrs. Jensen Our first big event of the year was our class play, “Swing Your Partner, ’ under the direc- tion of Mrs. Landgraf. It was held in our gym, November 18, 1954. On February 22nd the Junior class were guests of the Sophomore class at a party. We were entertained with volley ball, and square dancing. Delicious refreshments were served. Our next event will be the Prom, April 22, 1955. On February 16th George Dougherty was chosen King, and Bobby Sullivan was chosen Prince. The theme is “Melody of Love.” Don Kaye will provide the music for he evening. Those participating in sports are: George Dougherty, Richard Heinz, Dick O’Gara. Mike Rice, and Bobby Sullivan. Bobby Sullivan and Mike Rice represented our class on the Basket- ball Team. Those in A-Band are: Kenneth Wison and Elizabeth Schulte. Vivian Reineke is a majorette for the band. The ones from our class that are in Chorus are: Lois Arndt, Billy Short, Bobby Sullivan, Richard Heinz, Kay Welch, Audrey Winchell, Esther Clair, Joanne Cox, Vivian Reineke, Jean Simonson.Elizabeth Schulte, and Jerelyn Zellmer.

We held initiation for the freshmen on September 15th in the Wilton High School “gym. The freshmen gave a return party on October 15th. The sophomores taking chorus are: Nina Bray, Ruth Ann Fick, Donna Bever, Donna Buhholz, Berdella Geier, William Heilman, Magdalen Hemmersback, Doris Nauman, Lucille Noth, Donna Simonson, and Shelby Bell. Again this year Ruth Ann Fick and Inez Cox are cheerleaders for the B-Team. William Heilman and Donna Bever are on the Health Council. Those taking part in sports are: Duane Granger, Charles Wilde, Ralph Wendland, Marvin Reeck, and Billy Heilman is Basketball manager. Mr. Smillie: Use the word 'triangle in a sentence.” Bob Rice: If fish don't bite on grasshoppers, try angle worms.” 'T wish you wouldn’t whistle at your work,” said Mrs. Landgraf to Jack Rice during English Class. “It’s all right,” said Jackie.
