SENIORS PRESIDENT Merlyn Eckelberg VICE-PRESIDENT Orvis Schindler SECRETARY Joyce Fick TREASURER Caroline Steinhoff SERGE ANT - AT - ARMS Roger Pasch ADVISOR Mr. Irvin Loff REPORTER Tom Wiseman At the beginning of our Freshman year in “51”, our class consisted of thirty-six students: Joy Boldon, Alice Cox, Harland Creviston, John Eckelberg, Joyce Fick, Agnes Gallagher, Wil- bert Geier, Darlene Goetz, Betty Hardy, Richard Harrison, Lucille Hemmersbach, Karon Lar- son, Evelyn Larson, Carol Liefke, Eileen Lydon, Julitta Martalock, Jerry McCann, Charles Zellmer, Nancy Meacham, Elaine Meseberg, Roger Pasch, Gary Peth, Deloris Rudolph, Rhine- hart SchendeU, Daryl Schindler, Orvis Schindler, Dale Simonson, Margaret Short, Norbert Sin- nott, Caroline Steinhoff, Ruth Steinke, Jack Uselman, Karon Valesh, Pat Welch, Tom Wiseman, John Schindler, and Dorthy Yanke. We lost John Schindler, Dorthy Yanke, and Betty Hardy during the year. The class officers for the year were: President, Nancy Meacham; Vice-President, Eileen Lydon; Secretary, Joyce Fick; Treasurer, Caroline Steinhoff. The big event of the year was our initiation which was given by the Sophomores. We returned the party later in the year. Our advisor was Mr. Cady, the faculty members for the year were Principal, Charles Valesh, Herbert Cady, Mary Schwartz, Howard Chinnock, Irvin Loff, and Wilfred Berg. In September, 1952, we had initiation for the Freshmen. The evening was spent in playing and dancing. Those who took part in sports were; Baseball, Roger Pasch, Orvis Schindler, Charles Zellmer, Merlyn Eckelberg, Dale Simonson, and Harland Creviston; Basketball, Merlyn Eckel- berg, Tom Wiseman, Orvis Schlinder, Charles Zellmer, Daryl Schindler, Roger Pasch, Gary Peth, Jerry McCann, Richard Harrison, Pat Welch, and Harland Creviston. An all school picnic was held on the school grounds and every one was looking forward to the summer vacation. And so ended the Sophomore year for us. The Junior Class began its regular classes with 34 present. During the year we lost Bill Chambers, Gary Peth, and Jerry McCann. HUGO LIMP, Wilton

SENIOR HISTORY (Continued) The first big event of the year was our class play, Goodbye Hollywood,” held November 13, 1953, at Hetts Hall, under the direction of Mrs. Landgraf. Our class officers were: President, Orvis Schindler: Vice-President, Nancy Meacham; Secretary, Eileen Lydon; Treasurer, Joyce Fick. Our advisor for the year was Mr. Ayer. Those who participated in basketball were as follows: Roger Pasch, Orvis Schindler, Charles Zellmer, Merlyn Eckelberg, Dale Simonson, Richard Harrison, Pat Welch, Tom Wiseman, Daryl Schindler, Wilbert Geier, and Harland Creviston. Those in baseball were: Harland Creviston, Merlyn Eckelberg, Richard Harrison, Roger Pasch, Daryl Schindler, Orvis Schindler, Dale Simoncon. Pat Welch, and Charles Zellmer. The Cheerleaders were: Nancy Meacham, Eileen Lydon, and Joy Boldon. On February 16th Tom Wiseman was chosen for Prom King. He chose Joy Boldon for his Queen. The Prom date was May 7th, 1954, and was held in the new gym. April in Paris” was chosen as our theme and Don Kaye and his Orchestra provided the music. On May 22, 1954, an all school picnic was held on the school grounds and we were all look- ing forward to returning to school as seniors. On August 30th of 1954 we had an enrollment of 31 students. Our advisor for the year was Mr. Loff. Joyce Fick was chosen as Euitor-in-Chief of our annual with Nancy Meacham as her assistant. We began work on the annual early in the year. A photographer from Morrison Studios of Milwaukee came on October 15th to take the Senior Pictures. They returned later and also took our pictures for our annuaL Those participating in A-band were: Roger Pasch, Merlyn Eckelberg, Nancy Meacham, Agnes Gallegher, Charles Zellmer, Orvis Schindler, Tom Wiseman, Caroline Steinhoff, Eileen Lydon, Joyce Fick, and Ruth Steinke. Those who took part in Chorus were: Julitta Martalock, Alice Cox, Agnes Gallegher, Lucille Hemmersbach, Richard Harrison, Orvis Schindler, Roger Pasch, Charles Zellmer, Caroline Steinhoff, Joyce Fick, Evelyn Larson, Karon Larson, Margaret Short, Joy Boldon, Eileen Lydon, Merlyn Eckelberg. and Nancy Meacham. The twirler for the A-band was Joy Boldon and Julitta Martalock was our leader. Those who participated in basketball were as follows: Roger Pasch, Orvis Schindler, Charles Zellmer, Merlyn Eckelberg, Dale Simonson, Richard Harrison, Pat Welch, Tom Wiseman, Daryl Schindler, Wilbert Geier, and Harland Creviston.
