Junio ClaaA Siioimif On September 26, 1952, we held a basket-social in the school cafeteria. We also had a movie. On November 14, 1952, we presented our class play, Blood and Thunder , under the direction of Mrs. Landgraf. On April 24, 1953, we held our Junior Prom in Hett's Hall. The theme was Star Dust . The king was Verlyn Brey and for his queen he picked Marlene Creviston. The prince was Martin Arndt and the princess was Ruth Ann Stratman. Student Council members from our class were: Ruth Ann Stratman and Dean Switz. Those who participated in A-band were: Ruth Ann Stratman, Kenneth Koebernick, Julaine Summerfield, Jean Dott, and Eileen Short. Those in Chorus were: Kenneth Koebernick, Lon Martalock, Jean Dott, Ruth Ann Stratman, Shirley Pasch, and Eileen Short. Those in sports were: Lon Martalock and Martin Arndt. The A-team cheerleaders were Julaine Summer- field and Jean Dott. The B-team cheerleader was Dick Rice. The girls in FHA were: Ruth Ann Stratman, Julaine Summerfield, Jean Dott, Theresa Sinnott, and Eileen Short. The FFA boys were: Martin Arndt, William Chambers, Larry Schindler, Robert Winchell, Richard Rice. John Wildes, John Thurrow, Dean Switz, Eldon Brown, Verlyn Brey, Anthony Sinnott, and Kenneth Koebernick. The class officers were as follows: Ruth Ann Stratman - President, Julaine Summerfield - Vice-President, Jean Dott - Secretary, Lyle Gruen - Treasurer.

Marion Reineke is now married to the buttermaker here in Wilton. She is kept busy raising lots of little butter- makers. Jim Rice, a famed architect, is now completing the long needed plans for Wilton's new gym. Le Roy Schindler has completed four years of college and is now the national F. F. A. Advisor. Ervin Short is owner of the well known Short Gasoline Company. His private secretary is the former Marie Bugbee, an old classmate of ours. Ellen Steinhoff is now the mathematics teacher at Wilton High. She teaches driver's education on the side. Since she took the course twice she is doing exceptionally well. LaVonne Stone has ended her nursing career, just ss all nurses do by marrying the head surgeon at the Mayo Clinic. Edwin Wendland is now the new Secretary of Agriculture. He always was a pretty good farmer. Mrs. Flock turned on Jerry McCann. Young man, she said, I will have to keep you after school again for de tendons! Okay! replied Jerry, But I'll have you know that half the town says we're going steady!
