Our first class meeting saw the election of the following officers: President, Bradley Lathrop, Vice President, George Bryant, Secretary, Joy Fagonep Treasurer, Francis Egan, and Student Council members, Erlon Rand and Henry Richard. Our one-act play, The Best There ls , coached by Miss Kennard, was a big hit. This was a stirring drama which portrayed human emotions in a big city hospital. This year we had two record-hops and the Shamrock Frolic , all of which were great successes. In April a pleasant and educational trip to New York was enioyed by seniors and chaperons alike. Graduation plans were made and carried out with Miss Buck's assistance. Our four prin- cipal speakers for commencement were Richard Armstrong, Janet Collins, Francis Egan, and Beverly Hatch. To raise funds, our class held two dances January 21 and April l. We presented the one-act play, The Pampered Darling , under the capable direc- tion of Miss Young. This board has the following duties: I. It has the power to act on all matters pertaining to interscholastic athletics. 2. It has iurisdiction over the awarding and wearing of the W insignia and class numerals. 3. ltencourages branches of interscholastic athletics that it regards desirable. 4. It approves the election of Captains, Managers, and Assistant Managers. 5. It approves the style of athletic uniform, field arrangements, and game procedures.
