Fine records were compiled by both the j.V. and Varsity teams, the j.V.'s won nine and lost six during the regular season and the Varsity piled up fourteen wins against four losses in the same period of time. This, however, proved to be but the start of things for the Wilton boys. Off to a slow start with a loss to jay in the finals of the Franklin County Hoop Tournament, the team started to pick up by winning the regional play-offs, entitling them to a shot at the state crown. They then got through the Western Maine play at Lewiston to be- come WESTERN MAINE CLASS M CHAMPIONS. A loss to a good Greenville team in the state finals and another to jay in the Sun-Journal play-off brought the season to a close for the team and their very capable new mentor, Victor Woodbrey. f stiil lggg? f'lg Q' 4 f 'Amd' N lu C lf ZACELEQ Il j K ABLE l I2 S JU lfgfs rAlGEtfs AELEQ Front row, left to right: S.
