Whether it is the stand- ard course offered each year, or the Honors English offered in the Senior year, the English Department thoroughly prepares a student for college courses, and sometimes, arouses a more than passing interest in the subject. Whether his strength is grammar or literature, the English department is more than willing to help a student pursue his interests. 14
