A better understanding of the languages and customs of our neighbors is essential to bring nations into harmony with each other. The student learns to understand and respect the differences in civilizations. This study creates in our minds a greater appreciation of the indebtedness of our country to the cultural influences rendered by our world neigh- x X. Q kj x it bars.
