JUNE P. RUBRIGHT That's the Rubright Grin ! Everfsmiling and happy, that's June ! June and her Beechnut gum are an inseparable pair, When June is a friend, she is a precious one, for her good nature and witty humor are valuable assets. As a debater, june certainly proved to be Hery and argumentative, so we know she'll be the best little aluminum saleslady Reading ever knew. So- s wishing happiness and success to Our June . S. ALICE RUTH 'iMi1fmie Alice's chief delights are working in the library and studying chemistry, and she has a keen mind for both. Alice just helped a great deal in making our class activities a success, and our school life wouldn't have been nearly as enjoyable without her. Minnie wants to be a nurse, and we predict she'll do well. Bon Voyage ! f Mi Glee Club z, 3, 4, Library 3, 4. bating 4, Glee Club 2, 3, 4g Asst. Business Mgr. Wilsonian 4. PHYLLIS J. SCHGOLEY .UQ ww ..BOb.. For he's a jolly good fellow ! That is the class's opinion of R. SHEIDY Schooley ' Phyllis is the genial, smiling friend of everyone. Under that winning smile we know that she is quite industrious and conscientious. Her pet aversion is studying German poems and reciting them quite dilligently before her German professor. Phyllis hopes someday to be a doctor with a hospital of her own. Best wishes for success, Phyllis ! Glee Club 1, 3, 4. His good nature and pleasing personality have endeared him to everyone at Wilson. He has been a regular varsity performer in basketball, soccer and baseball and has caused many gray hairs among his opponentsg he will be sorely missed in future campaigns. Although Sheidy has been successful as a commercial student and as an athlete. he has also found time to hold down the lower hallg we wonder why? His future occupation is also uncertain, but we know he will again come through as he has always done. May good fortune be with you. RALPH S. MCYER Dutch Ralph, the young man with plenty of school spirit, ambition, and willingness to do things, is the one who deserves most of the credit for the success of the yearbook. He has been with us throughout all of our high school life and is well liked by everyone. He has kept up his good scholastic record remarkably well with the many extra activities he has taken part in. He has not only helped to make our debating team successful, but also our Wilson radio program and athletic teams. We shall always remember him as the detective in our class play, Small Town Romeo . GERALD V. SHELL Shelly Gerald is one of the few quiet boys of the senior class. His silence, however, has been very beneficial to him. He is a talented sax player and an industrious worker in the field of science. Shelly is particularly interested in aviation and radio. Gerald's broad smile for everyone has often put sun' shine into the class room. He enjoys a bit of humor once in a while and has an English trait where it comes to joking. Whenever radio or aviation will carry Shelly on into what it may bring him, the class is in back of him HAROLD E. STOUDT Ha11dsomei' The Handsome character pictured on the right could be none other than Wilson's all-around athlete who is a seasoned veteran in the basketball, baseball, track, and soccer wars of the county. He will always be remembered for his stellar work in developing athletic teams at Wilson. Stoudty also is famous for his untimely arrivals in English and typing classes. He is un- decided just what line of work he will follow, but we wish him all the success necessary to fulhll his ambitions. wishing him heaps of success and happiness. She can usually be found in study hall at lunchftime making use of her leisure. Mary is one of the tallest girls in the class and, therefore, must have lofty aspirations. Although Mary has not dennitely decided what her future shall be, she will probably be a stenographer. We give her our best wishes for success in the future. Glee Club 1, 3, 4. WWA W7 Eighteen
