With worry crossing his face, Ford Montgomery urges audience support. Ford Montgomery J.V. Rally Personifies Spirit The lively J. V. Rally members bounced, kicked, and yelled their way through the football and basketball seasons. Ford Mont- gomery and Mike Jeffries performed acro- batics while the attractive rally girls exhibited their dancing ability. Although attendance at J. V. games was low, spirits were high and the rally deserves most of the credit. Serving through both the foot- ball and basketball seasons, the rally per- sonified the spirit of their class and their teams. Janet U’Ren Julie Du Vall a TS. a —s

Troybabes Gain Skill Hampered by injuries to four of their top linemen, the Frosh football team finished the season with a 4-2-1 record. By far the most satisfying game of the sea- son was the 27-13 win over Lincoln. Off to a slow start, the Troybabes met the un- beaten Cardinals with a 1-1-1 record. With a massive team effort, the exuberant Troy- babes ran away with the game. Although Ed Krupa, Curt Held, Jim Musser, and Bob Pierce were injured during the sea- son, the team continued to move the ball with the successfully executed plays of Scott Park, quarterback, and Steve Peter- son and Mike Spang, backs. The team elected Mike Spang as the most valuable player, Scott Park as captain, Jim Musser as the most inspirational player, and Paul Gray as the most improved player this season.
