Cheered by an all-boy rally squad and feted at half-time by the Trojohns, the teams struggled to a 0-0 tie. Except for the three last-minute runs by Juniors Betty Reynolds, Chris Sullivan, and Sue Whitlock, most of the game was played within fifteen yards of the 50-yard line. Both teams executed their plays well, but neither team could break through the other’s defense. Senior Dolly Boals and teammate seem confused by the manly sport of football.
