A dministration What is a princqral? To the average student a principal is not just another faculty member, but one who wields more power of control and punishment. This describes only a part of a principal's job. He has to make sure the school is being run correctly, everything is under controL and the proper things are being taught. He must also deal with parents, busy schedules, teachers, and student conflicts. It may be a burden, but it is a job that must be done. For Mr. Beer, this may just seem routine. For Mr. Sonntag and Mrs. Clark, being an assistant principal was a new experience. Here at Wilson we are proud to have three wonderful principals!! Thank-you Mr. Beer, Mr. Sonntag, and Mrs. Clark for your dedication to the faculty and students of Wilson High School

Who Has Been Around? Who has been around Wilson since it first opened its doors in l958? Yes, you've got it-five dedicated, veteran staff members: Mr. Beer, Ms. Christensen, Mr. Sinkovich, and Mr. Sherwood. Mr. Beer, a one time member of the social studies department, and the student council advisor, is now Wil- son 's outstanding principal. Ms. Christensen not only does a terrific job as head secretary in the front office, but has been an invaluable asset to Wilson 's many clubs and sports. Mr. Sinkovich has diligently taught such courses as sopho- more and A.P. Biology, and after having taught intro. to science and physics for so long, Mr. Sherwood can certainly be termed an expert in his field. We salute these dedicated professionals for their concern and involve- ment. Mr. Hannula recently retired in l98l, but continues to coach Wilson's victo- rious boys' swim team, and has led them through 23 straight state championshqrs. 'f
