ln the English department are, seated Mr. Krieger, journalism and senior college English, Miss Shapiro, Latin and advisor to Romani Hodiernig Mrs. Asp, Spanish and Spanish Club advisory Mrs. Rocknern, newcomer to Wilson faculty. Standing, Miss Mackey, speech, and Jodelle advisor, and Miss Kachel, jun- ior English. Teachers of commercial subjects are Mr, Both- well, Kanteen advisor, Mr. Jessen, advisor to F.T.A., and also ass't football coach, and hockey coach: and Miss Hedman. Guardian of Wilson's health is our school nurse, Miss Johnson. Teachers of physical education are Miss Eowen, advisor to GAA. and Girls' VV Club and Mr Huntley, advisor to Boys' W Club, basketball team, and track coach. ,- 'und wig, 1

FACULTY The Wilson faculty has undergone several changes since last year. Mrs. Frank, commercial teacher, re- signed, also Mrs. Jorgenson, who has been replaced by Miss Rugg, home economics teacher. Mr. Ettel, left the chemistry classes in the competent hands of Mr. DeLaitsch. Mr. Kreiger is carrying on for Mr. Campion, former journalism and senior English teach- er, and advisor to the Kanteen. Mr. Pleason, former art teacher, now with the Department of Education, has been replaced by Mr. Albert. Preparing Wilson students to take their places as citizens of tomorrow are the social studies teachers: Mr. Fitzharris, football coach, baseball coach, Miss Wells, world history, Miss Binet, American history, Junior Red Cross advisor, Miss Felsted, who intro- duces freshmen to the workings of our government, Mr, Rossini, athletic director, and economic geo- graphy. Special departments at Wilson offer the students an interesting and well-rounded curriculum. Mr. Ray- mond, band and choir director, provides harmony for our school. Miss Rugg, home economics, is advisor to the F.H.A. Miss Hartung, librarian, keeps the Wil- son shelves well-stocked, and advises the Library Club. As guidance director, Miss Koch helps the stu- dents plan programs to prepare them for their chos- en careers. Besides teaching woocishop, Mr. Juds helps the business managers of the Log from going too far into the red. Mr. Albert provides inspiration for budding artists, advises the Log staff, and is also the football B squad coach, Mr. Mitchell, biology teacher, coaches the gym- nastics and swimming team. Mr. Carlson is really kept busy guiding future mad scientists through physics, higher algebra, solid geometry, trigonometry, and applied mathe- matics. Miss Midge helps under-classmen wrestle with algebra and geometry. Mr. DeLaitsch, besides advising the Atom Bums , teaches chemistry, gen- eral science, and consumers' math.
