Several observations were made from the results obtained. For example, the top five movies included those of the top actor and TOP£ OF actress. Dragging main and making out dominated the pastime list, and in spite of soaring gas prices, the students favored mid-size sport cars. It was also discovered that many students could not follow directions or had difficulty in making one choice. Here are the results: U .W.G. BestS 1. Flowers in the Attic 2. The Amityville Horror 3. Her death leaves an emptiness in the hearts of her family and friends, who will always remember her loving smile and companionship. God loaned Tina to us for a little while — then God's finger touched her, and she slept. IN MEMORY of SHEILA LANELLE COLLINS Born September 22,1967 Died April 15, 1980 9 LAUGHTER THROUGH THE TEARS Sitting on the step, looking across the way, I see so many memories of what was yesterday. Off into the heavens my eyes begin to stare, Through all that has happened, Sheila, I know you are there. I remember all the things we used to do, They won't fade though, because we will remember you. But thanks for the happiness from the time we spent, And, dear Sheila, for the love that you sent. I know it will never be the same, though we try, But I can still hear the laughter through the tears and the sighs. It’s hard to put into words our feelings for her. She has the unique qualities of being a teacher, but still fitting in with today's youth. For her thoughts, hard work, dedication, but most of all, just for being herself, we, the Annual Staff proudly dedicate the 1980 Eagle to “our'' sponsor MRS. It's been a year full of changes, and we, as the staff, have tried to change along with it. In Wilson’s first summer annual, it was our purpose to produce a new concept in our yearbook. We realize that this book will not please everyone. There will be complaints and criticism. But instead of making excuses for our work, we proudly present to you, our best effort in portraying the 1979-80 school year. tl Best Wishes, 144 Terry Tolbert Editor
