Foreword The Annual represents a year of hard work, achievements, and a little kidding around. For the graduating seniors, this will be the end of an era. Through the annual, we can continue to view the time that is lost to us. We of the Annual Staff have strived to portray Wilson High as it looks to us. We present to you the 1972 Eagle. 2 THE 1972 EAGLE WILSON HIGH SCHOOL WILSON, OKLAHOMA CONTENTS DEDICATION FACULTY CLASSES ATHLETICS ROYALTY ORGANIZATIONS HONORS ADVERTISING Mrs. Austin has a B.A. in Education from East Central State College. She is the Pep Club sponsor and has taught at Wilson High for three years. We have slowly become used to you, Mrs. Austin. You are always ready to help us, yet never forsaking class time. We actually think you feel guilty if you don't do your best. A quality all teachers should have. We would like to thank you for always being there when we needed you. The Annual Staff proudly dedicates the 1972 Eagle to Mrs. Linda Austin. Dedication 4 FACULTY DR. J. WESLEY HULL Superintendent B. This will be the last year of high school for the graduating class and, for some, the last year of any type of school. No matter what you do, your high school education is only the foundation of the knowledge you can attain as an adult. May you use this knowledge to improve our society and may you also have happiness and success in your future. Sincerely, L. A. Robertson, Jr. As we come to the end of this school year, may all of us be able to look back upon it with some sense of pride and satisfaction in the work we have accomplished. The influences of the home, the church, and the school can readily be detected in your everyday life. Nothing finer could be said of you than that you accepted your responsibility, admitted your mistakes, and placed your integrity first. My sincere congratulations to the sponsor, the staff, and all who had a part in making this yearbook possible, and for a job well done. V. Cr. cfa X, W. G. (Hap) Cox, Prin. Wilson Elem.
