Here at the executives’ table are Brenda Camplain, historian; Jack Shores, vice-president; Coleen Bates, president; Paulette Ferguson, secretary-treasurer; and Jerry Gunter, reporter. COUNCIL STRIVES TO BOOST SPIRIT This year, the Student Council sold candy to make money, and sponsored “Beat Healdton Week.” (Incidentally, we did.) Also sponsored were the Homecoming activities: selecting judges for the best float, and awarding trophies to the winners. The council also sponsored the parade downtown the day of the Homecoming. OFFICERS Planning for the next meeting are president Coleen Bates and members Sherry Shores and Terry Uzzel.
