SENIOR HIGH PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE To the Members of the 1963 Graduating Class: It gives me great pleasure to extend my sincere congratulations to you upon successfully completing this important phase of your formal education. From nowon you will be considered young adults rather than school children. This transition from school to adult life offers many advantages, but these advantages go hand in hand with new duties and responsibilities as adult citizens. To be an adult citizen today in our fast moving society, with its ever changing means of transportation and communication, we must always be alert and ready to meet new challenges. This for many of ypu will mean constant re-evaluation and retraining within the vocation of your choice. Your duty as an American citizen becomes very important in your relationship to the various nationalities of the world. Your tolerance, understanding, and appreciation of individual right must never be forgotten. As tomorrow's leaders. I wish you every success in your chosen vocation and in your personal life. Jack L. Richardson

SUPERINTENDENT’S MESSAGE Your school has made many advancements since you entered high school. You have shown growth and appreciation for the opportunities which your school has made possible for you when you advance in knowledge, truth and citizenship. Your school is a symbol of qualities so needed in our American way of life. Let us warn you now that you stand in grave danger of losing your birth-right to the blessings and opportunities which you enjoy. Beware of communistic beliefs which would rob the individual's right to think, to dream, to plan, to achieve or to claim your school. May you continue to

ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE The aim of education may be the attainment of an excellent academic record. However, we might have failed if a student has not developed the ability to speak freely and has not attained a wholesome attitude toward other people. We might have failed if he does not have an appreciation for the finer things of life, such as, art, literature and music, and have an inspired, illumined and heightened interest in gaining further knowledge. We might have failed if we have not developed his ability to live happily and peacefully in a world with other people. 4JL J. Wesley Hull, Principal South Ward Elementary School
