Dedication Twelve years have passed since our superintendent, Mr. H. D. Gound, came to Wilson. It has also been twelve years since this senior class of 1959 entered the first grade at the South Ward School. How wonderful it is to have the same superintendent to guide a class from its first day of school to the long awaited graduation day. At any time Mr. Gound is ready and willing to guide and counsel with any student. There have been some major additions to the school since Mr. Gound has been head of the Wilson Public Schools. Our much needed lunchroom, our well-equipped shop building, our good football stadium, and our Vocational Home Economics program are some of the outstanding improvements. All of these have been appreciated very much by the school and the community. To a very wonderful man who has guided the class of 1959 from its first day of school to its graduation, we dedicate the 1959 edition of the EAGLE'S VOICE . The Annual Staff

Teacher of the Year Carter County Mrs. Eula Murchison Teacher of the Year” Mrs. Eula Murchison, one of our elementary teachers, was named Carter County's Teacher of the year for 1958. Mrs. Murchison, who has taught in Wison these past nine years and in the Oklahoma school system since 1924, is a member of the Oklahoma Education Association; Delta Kappa Gamma, an Honorary Teachers Organization; National Education Association and Oilfield Classroom Teachers Association. The Annual Staff is happy that this honor has come to one of our teachers.
