The school year began with six teachers and ninety-eight pupils. Lr. Carroll G. Davis, Jr. High Principal, teaches physical education, spelling, and manual training. Miss learl McCabe teaches math and English. Mrs. Lonnie Jones teaohes science and hone eccnonics in the eighth grade. Mrs. 0.. E. Van Meter teaches English and science in the seventh grade. Miss Gail McWilliams teaches English and social science in the eighth grade.Mrs. Lily Rogers was teacher of social science and was in charge of all music. The qualifications of the Junior High faculty, the establishment of a Jr. High library and the addition of physical education and man- t ual training to the course of study enables the Jr. High to become a member of the north Central Association of Junior High Schools. Generally speaking the Jr. High School has presented a well rounded program for all students. Music and physical education have received special emphasis.Specific activities included three assembly programs, participation in the music festival, basketball tournament and track meet. Under the leadership of Miss McCabe and Mr.Davis, who are eighth and seventh grade sponsors, several successful parties and picnics have been. held.
