I -,. his copy must be really confusing! Copy editor Michel Moses and Co-Editor Heather Pauley look over a newly written paragraph a ' AM. 5 k, In search of the ultimate yearbook, the yearbook staff went into hiding at numerous beach and lake houses, working ceaselessly on copy and layouts. Led by the dar- ing and adventuresome yearbook advisor, Mrs. Robin McMahon, the staff was continually plagued by overworked and underpaid editors. The yearbook staff was not for the weak-willed. One had to be strong in order to deal with rewriting a piece of copy or redoing a layout many times over. For recreation and relaxation there were walks on w the beach, various games, and uSaturday Night Live with Pee Wee Herman. A special treat en- joyed by all was the psychoanalysis of new members. Much was accomplished at the workshops, not only on the year- book, but within the yearbook staff. New friendships were begun and old ones strengthened. Deidre Mor- ris said of the weekend workshops, It makes working funf' The ef- forts of those dedicated people that gave up their weekends to help produce the ultimate yearbook were much appreciated. They were successful in making this yearbook one to remember - once in a lifetime. After 27 hours of work, the yearbook staffers l turn Into beach bums at the workshop in North ' Myrtle Beach. Using a chair as a table, Laura Leach types captions at the beach workshop and smiles as she realizes itls almost done. 74 - Yearbook Workshops
