Awaiting the otntt of a Board meeting Mr. Love is shown what tonighfs topic ls go- Ing to be by Mr. Wilson. school office. What a Team! A new figure appeared in the halls this year. He was tall, young, smartly dressed, and energetic. In his hands he carried papers - plans for upper school management; in his head he carried ideas e hopes for launching Wilson Hall's already good academic program to one unexcelled in the state. Our new upper- school principal, Mr. Fred Moulton, joined a team with Headmaster Mr. Gene Love and the Board of Trustees to share ideas and hopes and set goals such as a five-year development plan in motion. Some improvements already made this year included a paved lighted parking lot, shiny new lockers, freshly painted hallways, and many other important renovations. The school also joined the Chamber of Commerce and set up even- ing forums bringing parents, teachers and administrators together to discuss pre- sent and future curriculums. An important part of the team's suc- cess came from a nine-member board that held innumerable meetings to define school policies and determine long-range goals. Dedicated policy makers, along with an effective administrative staff, allowed the schools operation to run ex- ceptionally smooth and to ensure that Wilson Hall offers the best possible en- vironment in which to teach as well as to learn. Looking over Mr. Price's shoulder, Mr. Moulton and Mr. King are exchanging ideas about tonight's agenda. Dating a Monday night board meeting, Mrs. Carpenter discusses a school policy with Dr. Young.
