The key word to a fourth gtader's school life. They had Two cub scout honor guards proudly carry the American flag at the Wilson Hall football game. Coming to Life an enthusiasm for learning and sharing that distinguished them from other grades. Just as Christian was eager to answer the next question, Nancy Hunter Lowder enjoyed sharing her summer vacation with her nine year old peers. All of them delved into their studies and absorbed everyth taught to them by Mrs. Gibson Mrs. Bledsoe. The fourth graders developed i excellent role models for the youn grades and their enthusiasm was example for all. The trip to Washington, DC. launched them into a test of their maturity and education. One good reason the trip was suc- cessful was summarized by Mrs. Segars and Mrs 80995, the fifth grade teachers, uThey are not babies anymore. They are old enough to do what I tell them. The lessons of responsibility learned in fifth grade were essential for next year they will be the leaders, upperclassmen, and role models of many younger students.
