There was more 0 and less time to do it in. As Cristina Iiano replied, ttlt sure is frustrating to Je so much more responsibility now? sponsibility was the foundation of the fifth graderhs life. The challenge of remembering what books to take to which class threatened the aptitude of these future teenagers. The trip to Washington, DC. launched them into a test of their maturity and education. One good reason the trip was suc- cessful was summarized by Mrs. Segars and Mrs 80995, the fifth grade teachers, uThey are not babies anymore. They are old enough to do what I tell them. The lessons of responsibility learned in fifth grade were essential for next year they will be the leaders, upperclassmen, and role models of many younger students.
