Playing pool and partying is part of having a good time as shown by Lance Toweryr 156 e Sophomores Leigh Reynolds Having Fun And Partying All the Time! After studying for tests, go- ing to the library after remember- ing a book report was due, and do- ing homework, the Sophomores had a little time to kill. 50 what was their favorite pastime? Partying, of course! On almost every Friday morning, the question was asked, uO.K., wheres the party tonight? and if nobody knew, a trip to McDonalds or Burger King was all it took to find the answer. There, where everybody met to discuss the even- Kathy Meeks Kathy Merritt Andy Mills Ronald Mitchell Mary Frances Moses Luanne Pace Mike Parnell Lisa Philips Andy Reynolds Dan Reynolde Gina Rhiner ing's plans, the answer was readil available, but Friday wasnlt the o ly time for parties. Before school began, th Sophomore class had a pool part at Mary Francis Mosesl house an also at John James' house. Also many weekends were spent at th lake with friends. Slumber partie made a comeback, and, of cours sweet 16 parties were always fun With all the parties that went on The Sophomore class lived up t their motto Patty all the time!

For the sophomores, this was - year filled with good things to 00k forward to. Most sophomores ere able to drive, have later urfews, and participate in varsity ports. Dating was also easier necause now boys could drive by s ophomores Becoming Involved themselves and ttMom didntt have to. Sophomores were more involved in upper-school life and they developed a sense of authority over their younger classmates. Many sophomores joined clubs such as the Key Club, National Honor Society, and the Senior Beta Club. Other activities that werentt so fun were the taking of the PSAT and the achievement tests. Summed up by Susan Seech this year for the sophomores was hectic.
