Vile believe that we can safely predict at this tizne the success of our Experiment, the formation of the Class of 1951. Therefore, we have undertalcen to publish our method of experimentation for those who comc after us, that they too may benefit from our conclusions. XVith this membership come many privileges and responsibilities, for the XV.C.C.A. plays an integral part in both academic and social phases of campus life. The basis of the Association is regard for and observance of the honor system. In the monthly meetings all phases of the college life are discussed. Constitutional changes and neyv student regulations. both academic and social. are voted on and various reports on conferences arc given to the student body. The Neighboris House Our neighbor's is an oldish house . . . a wirle, white house set on the hill where shades are rarely drawn . . . so that the lights seep out and the dawns creep in and shadows climb up on the pines and hide in the upstairs halls. Theirs is a quiet house . . . over and above the laughing and the scuifling. you can hear . . . the crackling of the fires on many hearths and the purring of big kettles on the stove . . . Theirs is a hungry house where apple bowls and trenchers filled with nuts - and plates of cheese and bread and meat and milk and opened pickle jars are everywhere ill evidence . . . And even in the bedrooms . . . little bags of private sweets are hidden under the pillows out of sight . . . in case . . . one should wake hungry in the night. In homes where good ,food aml good living are the rule, the name of H. J.
