PRODUCERS O I I O 0 0 O I O O O Memory is a strange thing. By a per- verse quirk of mind we all too easily forget facts and remember fanciesfor, if you like, forget details and remember only the general form and shape and impression. And so this Iooolc is of real value to everyone who has shared in the life of Wilson College during the year. It pre- serves many of the details which time so easily erases'-cletails worthy of preserv- ing for the Hrecorclu in this workmanlilce way-and at the same time it suggests on nearly every page memories which will grow more vague, and yet more precious, with the years. The value and meaning of our experiences will remain long after we have forgotten the date and place of ttlem, and even the people who shared in them. The volume sums up not only this academic year, lout also one part of the meaning of college. It seems to say that the ultimate significance and pleasure of what we do are somehow conditional upon a full command of the facts, as the fragrance of perfume upon the hundreds of blossoms carefully gathered. Paul Swain Havens.
