Youfll find, gentle reader, Within the pages of this book, so beautiful for its press Work, its pictures,.and the faces that they picture, that we have a way at Wilson to drive dull care away. ' ' The poet said long ago, s - A garden is a lonesome thing, God wot. A ' And if a garden be, how much more a College, and how much more above all the Colleges in the land, that College which We call ours. If you turn the pages and accept the gentle guidance of one of those Whose picture you will find herein,'how many are the spots at which you will pause to find delight in what is presented to your eye! , If nothing more be said, this is a book beautiful to the hand and the eye, but it contains besides many keys which in after years will open the treasure house of memory to every Wilson girl' in this fortunate age. Q I Who Write-this foreword have peculiar interests in all the scenes pictured here and all the actors in them, for I have experienced as no one else, especially in this year which is just passed, how very kind and thoughtful they can be who are so often spoken of as thoughtless girls.
