Hylinger The Lakemen Journal is produced by a group of Jr. High students who are experiencing the newspaper business for the first time. Under the direction of Mrs. Moley-Palacios and Mrs. Derrick, these students write articles that are published in a monthly paper. Some of the articles are based on interviews of teachers or students of the month. They also have an editorial page on which the opinions of Jr. High students appear. “Hats-off” submissions are included also. The Sr. High paper — “The Lake-man Spirit”, is published monthly by senior high students who are interested in modern journalism. This paper highlights many school events, and also includes a list of Honor Roll members each marking period.
