FIRST GRADE We of course read the DICK AND JANE books as all of our prevaous classes had done we learned how to prmt thus year for an Easter assembly we dressed up as daffodjls and brownles we made reclpe books for our mothers SECOND GRADE Thus year we sold tm protectors for an oven as a Fr Red Cross project some of us partnclpated ln the ploy Ljttle Black Samba everyone had danly health check ups THIRD GRADE We made houses out of cereal boxes and pamted them lme of thjrd graders fjrst went to relnguous mstructnons once a week FOURTH GRADE Mrs Bjrches room made two there were kjckball games out behlnd the school after many trlals and trnbulatjons we fmost of usl completed our multjplncatjon tables up through ten FIFTH GRADE Agam we put on a short play Clnderella everyone started playlng wjth a ball and jacks SIXTH GRADE For those In the old school there was soccer and softball games behund the old school long lunch hours an hour and a half the whole sjxth grade went to the Shrjne Clrcus thus year we used pen and :nk for the fnrst tame nn our school work SEVENTH GRADE A bug year passmg to class es was very new we all rushed to buy bug new notebooks everyone joined so oooooo many clubs EIGHTH GRADE Lufe Adjustment classes In whjch we adjusted Mr Ensmlnger s llfe contmua tuon of our ten week block subjects NINTH GRADE Tryouts for JV Cheerleading and Basketball kept everyone on puns and needles freshman chorus lBabes un Toylandl TENTH GRADE Senior Chorus CLady Be Goodl we now had only seven perlods In our day Instead of the customary enght Bnology Club and fleld trnps we dussected frogs an Bnology class Take lt With You and our prom Southern Swmg were both a great success the excate ment of choosung our class rnngs the fnrst maga zme soles lnklmgs the school newspaper os a Junjor project we had our class party at Olcott TWELFTH GRADE School starting at quarter after eught and lettjng out at two thjrty the bug pro- ject thus year THE CREST sellmg subscrnp tjons our prom was Chrjstmas Holudaze maga znnes were sold to bujld up a class treasury and we sponsored dances after the football games also our play was Books and Crooks : I I z . - . - ' I 1 I l I I I ' - .
