Learning Is An Art We realize that learning is the key to knowledge, enioyment of life, and understanding of the world problems. All through our primary and secondary schooling certain ideas or opinions of education can be asso- ciated with forms of art. For example, finger painting suggests young children iust beginning to learn. This year the yearbook staff is trying to express its thoughts and photographs in these forms. The administration section is in pointelism, a design produced by dots. This symbolized that they try with definite ideas and clearness to point out or teach us knowledge and a good way of life. As Seniors of 1956 we know that in many ways we have had an effect on Wilson Central Sahool. The art of impressionism, used for the senior division pages, is a method of painting general impressions. The seniors are divided according to vocations with designs in the background to suggest how these students of today will make their impression on the future in these fields. The students in the classes come in all shapes and sizes - round, square, oval, short, long or middle size. The degree of knowledge in this section also varies from a first grader to an advanced iunior. Cubism, the art of painting in geometric forms and different dimensions, best typifies these pupils. Versatile students participate in the various activities of the school. Design, means that those who take part in clubs gain an insight or an outline, for further learning, enioyment or work. The sports department is in abstract, the form which expresses a feeling that sports foster good school spirit and provide healthy competi- tion that might not be available in other sections. As you will see, each page has a special meaning, most of them to be interpreted by you, the readers.
