Mm Dj?-iufwfqi - 195 CYES presented by the senior class wilson central school wilson, new york foreword there is a time for some things, and a time for all things, a time for great things and a time for small things. cervantes time, the most essential factor in our lives, is probably the least appreciated of any blessing given mankind. time is more valuable than money but wasted to a greater extent, and once passed, can retum no more. the time is upon us when we will only be able to look back upon our school years. we have had time to study, to make friends, to overcome obstacles, to play. we have filled our time with athletics, organizations, classwork, and school activities. we have used time to know our teachers, to gain knowledge, to enioy ourselves, and to try our wings. we realize that these days already belong to the past, that we must go our separate ways, that even this youth we prize so highly is, at best, a fleeting thing. but time yet lies before us. and we fervently hope that we may use it to its best advantage, that we may never be defeated by it, and that it will always be our ally. so, as we march heads high into time, we leave behind the 1952 crest as the testimony of our school time and as a guide for the seniors-to-be. COI1i'6l1l'S administration classes page 5 page 27 Q 4 BWI seniors activities page 'I 1 page 41 athletics page 59 In Memoriam David Wheeler Korea 1951 Norman Forder Korea 1950 We, the seniors, pay tribute to two former Wilson pupils who gave their lives in the service of our country, and we extend our sympathies to their families. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. l John 15:13 ilfftilifrword is a lamp unto my feet, and o light unto my path. psalm 119: 105 csclmini tration thomas marks is a man we will alvu remember. for nineteen years, he served the school and the community the president of the board of educat he has always worked diligently in best interests, and he has become personal symbol of american leam mr. marks retired this year, and one thing left for us to say of him, , say humbly and proudly, well di l thou good md faithful servant. m. gazel le hoffmcn superintendent iames comell clerk leaving wilson high school, we pause to express our sincere apprecia- tion to the board of education for their time generously spent, their ener- gies expanded, and their unfailing loyalty to the american education system and our own student body. since 'l940, these men have worked together as a successful team. their proiects are too numerous to mention, but we will always remember their untiring efforts towards a future school. i earl brydges l russell hurl burt oscu' munch wirt waken Q5 '23-.-2 sf 'K , fi. -Mg, gg w wg N, 9854?
