Miss Grace M. Evans We would like to dedicate our yearbook to three whom we feel have done a little more than just teach. Those three are our advisors and our senior English teacher. Miss Gloria M. Enea md DEIIIIIATIU As the U. N. depends upon certain leaders for special aid along its way, so we, the class of 1951, have leaned heavily upon a few. Mr. Jack R. Maxfield To Miss Evans, Mr. Maxfield, and Miss Enea, for their unfail- ing assistance, unselfish consider- ation, and their complete fairness, we respectfully dedicate the 1951 Crest

' 'J , . 1? Q3 UHEWUHIJ . V ,Sz X. .ws ' f? 'ii ,. Eg .,, . ' fri- . We, the youth of America, have turned to the United Nations for faith in our future. For only through that governing body can we hope to achieve world peace. Just as all races and all creeds band together to provide a united front, our youth bands together, with education as its stepping stone, to become the world citizens of tomorrow. Ambassadors of good will from fifty-nine nations have made the U. N. what it is today, just as our parents and our teachers have fash- ioned our lives during our critical years. Just as the U. N. leaders struggle to create harmony among nations, so our administrators have coped with the problems within our group. These are the years of the U. N., and these are our years. We look forward to the future with our hearts high. For we believe, as the U. N. believes, that only through tolerance and justice, humanity and education, can the peoples of the world live and work together. We have lived and worked together for four years-we have been wrong, we have erred, but out of our mistakes and failures, has come this graduating class of 1951. So, as the United Nations moves forward into the years ahead, we go also. 2
