HE Senior Play chosen for thls year was a mystery comedy entitled ' The Scarlet Shadow ' The cast of characters mcluded Zenobla the hlred girl portrayed by Theresa Faery Laura Mr I-ludson's niece, portrayed by Sue Harblson, BenJam1n Bulwmkle a police lnspector who was the apple of Gwendolyn's eye portrayed by James Barrows, Gwendolyn Yapp a gossipy widow look mg for a man portrayed by Beverly Martm, Constantme the gardener who was later exposed as being the killer was portrayed by Hurk Taylor Harrlet Spector a pathological splnster portrayed by Delores Hurst Blance LaMont marrxed to LaMont portrayed by june Alexander, Pamela Poole a writer of mystery novels portrayed by Lots Chestnut, Dorothy Young on the verge of matrimony portrayed by Hazel Urtel, Lester Lang on the verge of matrtmony to Dorothy portrayed by Thom as Singer, Marx Drexel a bank robber posing as an mvalxd portrayed by Wm McClennan, Paul LaMont a questlonable character portrayed by Rlchard Southard Ira H1ggms tn love with Zenobta portrayed by Elmer Zoloyme, Mrs Hudson owner of the ' House of Happy Brxdes portrayed by Marlene Schultz, Frances Noval almost a br1cle portrayed by Jeannette Shoultz, Pike a detectwe portrayed by Allen Sweet and The Voxce portrayed by Ellzabeth Kexzer Edward Sylvxes was Stage Manager asslsted by Merwm Hurtgam The cast practlced every mght for elght weeks ln order to present thls play We had loads of f domg It but at tunes lt was pretty nerve wrackmg, especlally for Sarge After elght weeks of rehearsal the blg mght fmally arrwed Although there was a lot of ner vous tensxon among the cast the flrst mght thus feelmg soon gave way to sat1sfact1on as the play progressed Due to the very able and competent dlrectlon of Mr Robert Rlchardson the play was a huge success, havmg a full house both mghts We, the play cast agam wnsh to thank Sarge for devotmg hls t1me effort and patlence to us durmg that long etght weeks of rehearsal 1 Left to right I tis.
