This edition of the Crest would not be complete without some mention of the advancement in educational opportunities made during the past year. Wilson High School was centralized on June 26, 1941. There are now fourteen districts, which make a total enrollment of 770 students. Along with the increase in enrollment, there has been the establishment of two new departments: Industrial Arts and Cirls' Physical Education. The Industrial Arts department is located in the old Union School building across the street. New tools and machines have been purchased to make the department as nearly complete as possible. In the second semester, arrangements were made for a program of re- ligious instruction under the leadership of several ministers in the local community. The members of the Class of 1942 are proud to be the first graduates of the Wilson Central School.
