F. F. A. The F. F. A. is made up of boys who take vocational agriculture. Mr. Knight is the chapter leader with Francis Milner, the president, Myron Schultz, secretary, Dick Scott, treasurer, Tom Jester, Student Council, and the vice president is Warren Meredith. The F. F. A. in general is designed to instruct farm youth in leadership and participation in public affairs, and to teach them to work together. It prompts activities that require a group to carry out and provides enterprises that would not be otherwise available to its members. We send delegates to the annual regional meeting at Greenlake, Wisconsin every other year, The purpose of this meet is to become acquaint- ed with the activities of other chapters and to get ideas and instruction in the way in which our chapter should be run. Trips to the International Stock Show in Chicago and the like are partially financed by the organization. Our chapter also provides a swine project for its members in which the chapter takes all risks of operation and the individual receives all of the benefits. A basketball team was formed which went to a tournament at Waukesha after winning a couple of games played with nearby chapters. Although this group is a part of a national organization, the chap- ter is more interested in the interest of its members, and thus doesn't follow the rules of the national group too closely.
