I sincerely hope that each and every one of you will succeed in your ambitions. You are graduating at a historical time in the annals of Wilmington High School, for as you leave to make your way in life, so also leaves one whose ideals you might well adopt to guide you successfully through life. Bliss Laura Marland retires this year after forty-six dedicated years in the service of your high school. There is not enough money in this world to pay this wonderful person for the good she has done and the hours she has toiled to make it possible for the youth of Yvilmington to become more intelligent and decent citizens. Fortunate are you who have been privileged to have attended her classes. You would do well to copy her code of ethics. 67' Harold E. Driscoll Assistant Principal 9 . Congratulations to the Class of 1965 upon your graduation from High School! Rlay the future un- fold for you in health, joy, and success in your ev- ery endeavor. The Class of 1965 has a dual distinction - first, in concluding the final phase of your education at Wilmington High School, and secondly being the last of forty-six classes to have had the privilege of being taught by Bliss Laura N. Niarland. Dedication has been a deep-rooted trait in the sterling character of fwliss Niarland. As the years roll by, may she hold an honored place in your memory. Treasure her teaching, and may her guid- ance and example be a continued source of inspira- tion to you, as it has been to her colleagues. fQ.,Va4,o'f 'CZQZJZK Mr. Bernard P. McMahon Principal
