Class Histor The class of '64, the first class to complete all its junior and senior high school days in the new building, is now on the threshold of graduation. ln years to come representatives of our class will be playing an important part in keeping our country strong and free. With just a few short months until graduation we can fondly look back and recall our high school days. Who can forget the anticipation and excitement we felt at Whois Who? As sophomores we were official high school members and proved ourselves worthy of this distinction. Our class members soon became very active in athletics, band, and clubs. In traditional Wilmington fashion, we sponsored an immensely successful candy sale. National tests revealed our class to have a tremendous scholastic potentiality. This aspect, plus our high-spirited attitude, surely destined us for a great future. Our sophomore year completed, the hallowed halls of Wilmington were now traveled by older and wiser persons-we were all Juniors and proud of it. ln a spectacular mass effort of teamwork and co-operation, our class surpassed our magazine sale's goal by an almost unbelievable amount. A successful Get Up and Go unveiled a vast array of previously unknown talent. Before the year was over, we had also hosted a unique Sweater Hop. As our Junior year rolled to an end, jubilant thoughts of our long awaited Senior year danced through our minds. With that little extra c'punch for which our class is so well noted, we carried on the traditional duties of the senior class. The Wh0's Who became the first of our many successful ventures as Seniors. Assuming the responsi- bility of the Wasp, we turned out a new and better paper. Lock, Stock and Lipstick, the Washington trip, and finally graduation climaxed the ending of our high school days. However, this ending is only the beginning, but it is a good beginning. The class of l964 sincerely thanks the entire faculty of Wilmington Area High School for their support and co-operation in making our high school days a truly memorable era of our lives.
