I cam flfbtff of 7Qj2 by Madeleine Fordney We, the 1952 Senior Class of New Wilmington High School, being of unsound minds and questionable intelligence, do vow and proclaim this last will and testament to go into effect immediately following pub- lication. Vv'e, who for twelve long years, explored the mysteries of education, return all stolen books and lab equipment, erase all personal autographs, and in general clean up the less reputable traces of our glorious careers. To all teachers, who patiently put up with our by-gone adolescence, we extend our appreciation and deepest sympathy due to the fact that though we leave, you have many more to rehabilitate. To Mr. Whitman, our beloved principal, a special thanks for the many questionable excused ab- sences, senior priveleges, and boosted grades which aided greatly in making school days a memorable phase of the past. To future classes, we the gals and guys of 52. With years behind, and years ahead, must bid a fond adieu. Memories here have paved the way, for you who will rise in another day. Worn seats and tattered books, foolish pranks and teacher's looks. VVe depart and march with pride, in answer to life's great call. But lest you forget, we leave behind, our picture in the hall. To dear Miss Dunn, our guiding light, from every lad and lass, We leave with joy, yet much regret, a new and hopeful class. Major Woods, our classis genius, man of knowledge great, Bob leaves his brain to Charley King, his junior chemistry mate. Joan McConnell's neat appearance wins her a silver dollar, She leaves her charming personality to be used by Sandra Sholler. Betty Maughan, that gay young girl, an ardent marriage fan, To Emma Jane Evans, she gives some hints, on how to get and keep a man. kk' Bob McFarland's quiet and conservative nature f deserves full recognition, if He leaves this trait to Tommy Jarag we think it's a Q worthy addition. Q Ruthie Cooper's magic talents fill a barrel of inspiration, X x To Sally Haymond, 4'Coop bestows her artistic inclination. X A level head and winning ways distinguish Robert X Creighton, Dave Howard receives this cloak of poise, to wear with no debatin'. f Lola Whitaker's genuine smile, affects many a gloomy soul, Y When she is gone she wants Bev Sloan, to take the Q., .1-'V leading role.
