The Christmas Pageant Highlights of the 1956 Holiday Season for W-H students was the annual Christmas Pageant presentation, an inspiring story, The Gift Magnificant. The Pageant was under the direction of Miss Virginia Grant and Mr. Garner . Outstanding p er for ma n c es were given by Chester Kissell, as the downhearted stranger, and John Dickerson, who portrayed a young minister. They arrived later that night and even though they were a little tired, didn't lose any time starting to have a wonderful time. During the next two days they swam, danced, hiked, ate, slept lvery littlel, rode horses, played tennis and many other things. They came back on Saturday after having a wonderful time -- one to be long remembered.
