0, gfio In September, 1946, twenty-seven bright and shining faces entered the First Grade of Willshire Public School. We were greeted by an equally excited Miss Schaadt, who was to be our first grade teacher. Our first assignment was learning how to spell and write our names, which for some of us proved to be a real job. At the end of the year we were all passed to the Second Gradw where we had Mrs. Eichar as our teacher. Although we liked second grade, we were glad tobe passed to the Third Grade with Mrs. Dellinger, after that the Fourth Grade with Mrs. Bain. We also liked the Fifth Grade with Mrs. Bowen and the Sixth Grade with Mr. Sipe. After the Sixth Grade we entered Junior High with Mr. Ray Black as our sponsor. We liked the Seventh Grade, and we adjusted ourselves to the new routine. We were finally in the Eighth Grade. That was the year we took our state tests. The results were exciting for some, and for others not so exciting. When we were Freshmen with Mr. Lucas as our sponsor, we thought we had made it. 'That year we were initiated. We liked it but would never have admitted it. Then we were Sophomores with Mr. Don Black as our sponsor. As Juniors with Mr. Don Black again as our sponsor, we looked forward to the class play, our rings, and of course, the prom. Now, as Seniors, we are looking forward to our class trip. We still have some money to make, but we have very competent help from our sponsor, Mr. Don Black. We wish to thank everyone who has helped us through our twelve years at good old Willshire Public School. of NOT THE END, BUT THE BEGINNING f of 1 of J MINT GREEN and SILVER WHITE ROSE 1 ED ALSPAUGH ROGER ANDREWS DALE BROTHERTON KATY BUECHNER EILEEN BYERS MARY FELVER LINDA GEISLER BARBARA GUNSETT GARY HEY BARBARA HUFFMAN LARRY HUGHES RALPH IAMES 54' CHARLES KIMMEL EILEEN KRALL CAROLYN KREISCHER PHIL LAUTZENHEISER RONALD MEDAUGH SHARON MILLER DEANNE OSBORN CYNTHIA REEF BILL SCHAADT RACHAEL SCHAFFNER JUDY STETLER I fDnn .Tfack
