Once again here we are appearing in the WILLOW , only this year we feel more grown-up. Sixth graders! ! ! This year our geography has included the study of Ohio. We were each assigned certain leading cities of Ohio on which we made reports concerning the location, in- dustries, and population. This was especially interesting since we all hope to visit in and around these cities some day.

FIFTH GRADE ACTIVITY In the fifth grade geography we study the Americas 1North America and South Americaj. We are very much surprised to find their many likenesses and differences. We strive to learn just as much as possible about our own United States, since we make up a very small part of it. In studying the United States, we have it divided into five groups. They are: New England, Middle Atlantic, Southern, Central, and Western. In addition to our studying the natural regions and physical features, we learn to name and locate each state and particularly note what the people of each state do to earn a living.
