L- ,, ..A av-as BILL GENE Bill Marbaugh--Probably the fastest man on the squad, Bill played sev- eral good ball games. A quick man down on the fast break, he can also cause opponents trouble with his set shots. He will be around to help his teammates next year. ARCHlE e., 4- Ned Byer. the team's manager and handy man, conscientiously served the Bearcats. This was his first year as mana- ger, and he proved to be an excellent one. 'HILLIARD Ted Hakes--One of the two seniors on the team. Ted has served as a real steadying influence, defensively and offensively the past year. His sense of humor and calm manner has helped the rest ofthe boys over many a rough spot. This was his last vear on the squad. Ya:-3 Gene Painter ------ A real Bearcat in defense and off the backboard, Gene really began to develop an offensive punch late in the season. He shows promise of developing into a fine player next year --Ross ...fi Phil Hileman---A lanky, 6 ft. Z in. center, he should be able to help the team much next year. He played several fine games on the reserve team this season 33 Keith Ross-A Sophomore, has plenty of time to develop into a good player. With his size, he should be plenty tough under the basket next year, if he keeps up the good work. mymu-
