Vfi Wsb©ro 1 Dedication To Mr. Spierto and Mrs. Sodaro We, the Senior Class, wish to dedicate this yearbook to a very special person, Mr. Tom Spierto. He has made the reality of a Senior trip possible with the various projects he has helped us with. There are not enough words or ways to express our feelings and thanks to our dear advisor and friend. Together we strive to find what we want in our lives. The two of you have helped to pull us through. Many good times have past and the years have gone by so fast. But now we must say Good-bye and thank you in every way! cw The Seniors We also wish to dedicate this yearbook to another special friend, Mrs. Beverly Sodaro. She has helped us greatly not only with our yearbook, but with many other events in our Jr. and Sr. years. 2 Mrs. Ella Murphy Mrs. Murphy retired in June, 1977, after giving 33 years of love and devotion to her 4th grade students. She was a dedicated teacher who is missed. The students that have had Mrs. Murphy as their teacher will never forget proudly showing off their paper “multiplication tables” hats. She made learning fun and endurable. We feel we were fortunate in having Mrs. Murphy, and we wish her all the best in her retirement. Mr. Alvin McLean Sr. Mr. McLean is retiring this year with 20 years of faithful service to our school. He was our janitor who was always good-natured and helpful to us. He will be missed by all the students and faculty. Good luck to you, Mr. McLean, in your retirement. Mrs. Julia Mason Mrs. Mason is retiring this year after 37 years of teaching. Mrs. Mason is an exceptional teacher who gave her students the self-confidence and preparation needed for seventh grade. Everyone who had Mrs. Mason will never forget selling seeds and squaredancing. With eyes filled with tears, we say to you, Mrs. Mason, “Thank you and good-luck! 3 rt. Whether she had vanished into the air, or whether she ran quickly into the woods, there was no way of guessing, but she was gone, and Alice began to remember that she was a pawn, and that it would soon be time for her to leave. A quote from Alice in Wonderland given by a friend. m In Appreciation We, the graduating class of 1978, would like to express our sincere appreciation to everyone who has helped make our high school years successful.
