4e Class of 1373 jyreSfcTuts DEDICATION We, the Class of 1973, take great pride in dedicating our yearbook to Tom Spierto. Having been our class advisor for five years, Mr. Spierto has pushed, pulled, and occasionally kicked us on our way to the Bahamas and adulthood. His influence and guidance have proven rewarding and will continue to do so in years to come. It is to you, Mr. Spierto, our dear friend, we dedicate our yearbook. 2 Why don't you pick on someone your own size? You've got to work if you're going to make it to the Bahamas! Is this how you do the boogaloo? Our Mr. Spierto George, -Shepani r 'A f fuirice. Mac-Dou al o 'Ey Me. - o O o 4 ADMINISTRATION JOHN E. Ramark-Vardcn Studios sponsored a workshop for student yearbook photographers which was held on the St. John Fisher College campus in Rochester, New York. One hundred and forty students and yearbook advisors took over 12.000 photographs during a 3 day period. All photos were processed and critiqued during the workshop. In addition to this, everyone enrolled attended 4 theory lectures. 5 one hour talks by top men in their fields. 2 slide shows by Kodak, a tour of the Rochester Institute of Technology photo department and also found time for a cookout and several social hours which included an all night rap session. Everyone was asked to fill out sheets to evaluate the workshop. Some of the comments were: quote “I hope I flunked so I can return next year by Laurie Chapman, Amsterdam High School, Albany, N.Y. “Ramark-Varden should conduct workshops, again, again, again and again by Terry Tiraborelli. Fair-port High School. Rochester, New York. I thought the whole workshop was fantastic by Kathy Bcerhalter. John F. Kennedy High School, Utica.
