THE GILLILAND PRESENTED BY CLASS OF 1969 Willsboro Central School We, the Class of 1969, take this opportunity to express our appreciation to the many people who have helped us in any way, especially our parents and teachers who have put up with us throughout these twelve difficult years and who have chaperoned our various activities; Mr. Williams, our junior class advisor, who was of tremendous assistance to our class activities such as apple picking and the Prom; the Colesforthe use of their vacant apartment for prom preparations; Miss Sullivan for rescuing us in our prom program dilemma; Mrs. McKenna for making our crowns; Mrs. June Mero for not only her constructive ideas but also her actual labor in working on our prom; the Ashlines for our party after the prom; Mrs. McCabe for her direction of the senior play; and Mrs. Fish for donating a painting to us for a raffle. 2 Ever since Mrs. Booth came to Willsboro in 1946, she has been one of our favorite teachers. Every student has looked forward to Eighth grade English, and many have been persuaded to add Latin to their courses in order to be under her tutelage. Although we have not had her as instuctor for several years, we will never forget her kind understanding of us and our problems, her exceptional sense of humor, her sincere and unceasing interest and devotion to all her students, and her generosity in giving of her time and energy. The class of 1969 are happy to dedicate this issue of THE GILLILAND to Mrs. Esther B. Booth. 3 YEARBOOK STAFF BACK ROW: M. Drinkwine, D. Cole, S. Hoskins, R. Kenyon-Editor, A. Fish. FRONT ROW: D.
