CLASS HISTORY Picture an excited group of ambitious Freshman filling out the class schedule to begin the first of a four year adventure into education and useful knowledge. Naturally school was not all books and study for time was found for parties and class projects. Our class chose Miss Boirne as its advisor. The president was Blanche Spiorto; vice-president, Marjorie King; secretary, Virginia Kanaly; treasurer, Richard Spear. We held enough food sales to relieve the housewives in town quite often. However, we also had raffles, card parties and a play, Here Comes Charlio11. Several class parties were held. 1937 found the class even more enthusiastic in school and class affairs. We planned to go on a trip to Washington when werowere Seniors. Cur ''Fat and Lean basketball games were enjoyable. We also held card parties, food sales and dances. Miss Conklin was our advisor. Virginia Kanaly was elected president; Ncrma Hutchins,vice-president; Blanche Spierto, secretary and treasurer. The Junior year was the most oxciting year in high .school. Our advisor was Miss Harter. Walter Lineal became president; Juanita Jones, vice-president; Norma Hutchina, secretary and treasurer. Our class program included a backward dance, which was amusing and successful, a Junior play, card parties, raffles, and the sale of candy and hot lunches. The Yankee King was our Junior play with Norma Hutchins and Richard Spear in the leading roles and a supporting cast of Robert Lincoln, Virginia Kanaly, Robert Adams, John Costin, Blanche Spierto, Edward Feltt, Juanita Jones, Eleanor Costin, Paul Daby, Constance and Celeste Dickinson. We planned much on our Junior Prom which was a financial and social success The feature of the evening was the coronation of the 3ueen, Virginia Kanaly, and tho King, John Costin, with their attendants t Ruth Flora, Blanche Spierto, Norma Hutchins, Mary Kehoe, Walter Lincoln, Richard Flora, Donald Strong, and Austin Cross. Master of ceremonies was Richard Spear and the flower attendant, Celeste Dickinson . We aided the Seniors at graduation by decorating the auditorium with boughs and soring flowers. We enjoyed helping them although Miss Harter, Walter Lincoln and Edward Feltt risked their lives by so doing. as Seniors v e tried energetically to continue our good work to increase our treasury for a class trip. Miss Harter was our advisor again this year. Walter Lincoln was elected president; Norma Hutchins,
