The Freshman class was: organized in 1935 with Mr. Van Leuvan. former history teacher as: advisor. The following officers were elected; Mary Kehce, president;- Harold Strong, vice-president; Veletia Stf'ong, secretary and James Mason, treasurer. There were thirty-seven in the class. During that year we held several food sales and started the annual and very successful Christmas food basket raffle. We aIs held a St Patrick's Day party. The outstanding event, however, was the Hallewe 1en party, a costume affair. In 1936 the class reorganized with Mr-. Van Leuvan still the advisor. This year John Costin was elected president; James; Mason, vice-president; Ruth Flora,, secretary and Harold Strong, treasurer. There were twenty-eight in the class at that time. d Juniors now reduced to twenty-four members, the class; chose Ruth rlera, president; Donald Strong, vice-president; Elsie Rand, secretary-treasurer. Mr, Van Leuvan, who had taken another position was replaced by Mr, Driscoll as advisor. Besides several raffles, bake sales, and card parties, the class attended a Christmas party as the guests of the Seniors. On t 5r?;?‘ ® we Presented the play Melodrama in Nankipoo1’. The members of the cast were; Ruth Flora, John Costin, Donald Strong, Mary Kehoe Harold Strong, Florence Young, James Mason, Rena King, Raymond era, Shirley Boardman and Robert Adams. Mr. Driscoll directed the play. On May 20 the annual Junior Prom was held. The gymnasium was decorated in green and gold and the stage was banked with flowers. Music was furnished by Wayne Snow of Plattsburg. c, TMiS Seniors reorganized with only twenty-three mem’ .. Mp Driscoll retained his position as the faculty advisor. Row? £ross was elected president; John Costin, vice-president; Robert Reynolds, secretary-treasurer. The class sold magazines in the first part of the year. Later ® am?an£? Dann7 Wynn's music. We also held several card parties. Besides his interest in sports he is a good student and receives much enjoyment from reading. ACTIVITIES:HI-Y(1,2,3)j Basketball(l,2,3,4); Baseball Manager(3,4); Soccer(4). ROLAND COOLEY September 10,1920 Bingo Bing is in his glory with his Harvard hair cut, long whiskers, and green shirt. ADA C00NR0D September 4,1921 Adie A slender girl with an appealing smile is Ada, although she is quiet and enjoys her studies, she likes to ride in noisy Fords, JOHN COSTIN November 1,1920 Doc John is the versatile member of his class. He has been very active in dramatics, sports, andin working on the school paper. AUSTIN CROSS May 24, 1920 Bashful Austin is the athletic type of boy. His main interest has been basketball, Who will forget some of the spectacular plays that ho has made? He has been a very capable president of the SoniorGlass. He has only one weakness and that is his desire to have hi3 hair waved. RUTH FLORA Doccmbcr 6,1919 Irish As They Do in Ireland Ruth is a typical Irish colleen with blue eyes and wavy hair,Ruth is always smiling and playing jokes bn someone. When there is work to bo done we always find Ruth ready for her part.
