NHS Motivates Students To Excel Scholastically National Honor Society is dedicated to the recognition of outstanding students and is generally an honorary organization. Candidates for membership in the National Honor Society are juniors who have attained at least a 3.25 grade average and seniors who have attained at least a 3.0 grade average. Five per cent of the junior class and fifteen per cent of the senior class may attain membership into the National Honor Society. The officers are elected by the vote of the membership. National Honor Society is again continuing its tutoring program which is an aid to many students.
